Scan the receipt, say who had what, and everyone sees their number, exact to the penny. No account to make, and nothing kept once you close it.
Solander
What the sun, the moon and the dark will do at your spot, hour by hour and days ahead. It works out how much usable night you'd actually get, then tells you whether to go.
CatchCrop
Raised beds, allotment plots and containers on a grid of 30 cm squares — and every sowing, planting-out and harvest date worked out from the frost dates at your own site, not a generic calendar.
Cardetta
Import your Anki decks, review with FSRS, and ask the app why any card is in today's queue — it answers in plain English, then shows its working. Set an exam date and it front-loads to fit.
Barline
A practice looper for learning songs by ear. Import a track you own and it maps the bars, beats, sections and key on the phone; tap a section, slow it down without changing the key, and repeat until it's yours.
Talespoke
A campaign notebook for Game Masters. Say what happened after the session; it picks out every NPC, plot thread and place on your iPhone, files them, and finds them again months later.

Every decision in these was ours to make, and every one of them is visible on the screen. That is a more useful thing to show you than a case study.
One job, done properly
No dashboards, no onboarding carousel, no settings screen nobody asked for. If a screen doesn't move the job forward, it isn't in the app.
Says what it doesn't know
A scan that isn't sure says so. A forecast that's bad says don't go. An estimate is called an estimate. We would rather an app admit a limit than paper over it.
Shipped, not announced
An app appears on this page when it is real and finished. Anything still being argued about stays off it.
