RideplotTheme park planner

Your theme park day, in ride order.

Tick the rides your family wants. Rideplot puts them in order with a clock time for each, from today's posted waits and each ride's usual wait, and re-plans when the park reports a ride down.

Free: queue times at 15 parks and one planned day.
Rideplot Plus: £2.49 a month or £14.99 a year.

Waits now

Every ride's posted wait, beside its usual wait

Each ride shows the wait the park posts, when it posted it, and that ride's usual posted wait for this hour. A wait more than ten minutes old is greyed and says so.

Go now, or go later

Each open ride says whether its queue is usually shorter later today, and when. Bonfire is posted at 100 minutes; it's usually about 55 min at 16:00.

Waits now at Hollowmere Park, shortest first: Skyfern 10 min, go now; Tumblecask 10 min; Wisplet 15 min; Dropwell 30 min, go later, usually about 5 min at 19:00. Bonfire's ride detail at 11:49: posted 100 minutes, go later, usually about 55 min at 16:00, and its usual posted wait by hour.

A ride's usual day

Know when each queue usually drops

Rideplot keeps a usual wait for each ride at each hour of each day of the week, from what the park posted on past days; how far back depends on the park. Pick a ride and a day, and see when its queue usually drops.

Plan a day

Your day out, ride by ride

Pick the park and the day, when you'll arrive and leave, and keep a lunch break clear if you want one.

Tick the rides you want

The ride list flags a ride below a child's listed minimum, or where a child is borderline, before you tick it.

Get a time for each

Rideplot fits in the most rides it can before you leave, ordered by each ride's expected wait and the walk between rides. Rides that won't fit are listed, never dropped.

New day at Hollowmere Park for 31 October 2026: arrive 10:00, leave 16:00, a 45 minute lunch break at 12:15. The ride list for that day with all 15 rides ticked, each flagged where a child is below a minimum or borderline. The plan for Saturday 31 October: 10:10 Tin Mine Express, 10:24 Ironroot, 10:41 Dropwell, 10:56 Skyfern, 11:42 The Mirkvault with a queue-skip ticket, 12:01 Mirefield Manor, lunch at 12:15.

Heights

Each child's height beside each ride's limits

Add each child's height once. Every ride shows its listed limits in the park's own unit, each child beside them, and the park's page with the date it was checked. A child less than 3 cm above a minimum is marked borderline. The park measures at the ride, and its staff decide who rides.

On the day

Tick rides off as you go

Done, Skip, or This ride's closed. The park's waits refresh every two minutes while the app is open on the day.

The park reports a ride closed, and the day re‑plans

Rideplot re-plans the rest of the day from the ride you've just done, and says why.

On the day at 13:57, in dark mode: next, Wisplet, there by 14:16, then Spindlewhirl at 14:42, Mizzle Hoppers at 15:33 and The Mirkvault at 16:03. Re-planned: the park reports Wisplet closed. Next, Mizzle Hoppers, there by 14:18, then Spindlewhirl at 14:37 and The Mirkvault at 15:39.

Quieter days · Rideplot Plus

Find a quieter day to go

Rideplot marks each open day in the next 60 as likely quieter, usual or busier, from past posted waits, with the usual wait at three headline rides.

And

The small things that help

See an example day first

Before you go, the Demo day plays a recorded park day thirty times faster than real time. At 11:20 the replay reports a planned ride down, and you watch the day re-plan.

Queue-skip tickets

Bought one for a ride? Switch it on and the plan counts that ride's queue at 10 minutes.

Lunch kept clear

Set a lunch break and no ride's walk, queue or ride runs into it.

Share or export your days

Send a plan as text to whoever's coming, or export every day as a spreadsheet file.

Fine on a patchy signal

Rideplot keeps the last copy of each park's waits and your plans on your iPhone, and says how old the waits are.

Questions

What people ask

Which parks does Rideplot cover?

Alton Towers, Thorpe Park, Chessington World of Adventures, Legoland Windsor and Paultons Park; Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney's Hollywood Studios and Disney's Animal Kingdom; Universal Studios Florida, Islands of Adventure and Epic Universe; Disneyland Park and Disney Adventure World in Paris; and Europa-Park. Rideplot is unofficial and not affiliated with any of them.

Where do the queue times come from?

From the waits each park posts, supplied by ThemeParks.wiki. Usual waits are worked out from past posted waits; how far back depends on the park. They are the park's posted waits, so the queue you join can differ.

Is the plan exact?

No. It's an estimate, and it assumes the standby queue. Walking times are for timing only: follow the park's signs between rides.

Will it tell me if my child can go on a ride?

No. It shows each child's height beside the ride's listed limits, in the park's unit, with the park's page and the date it was checked. The park measures at the ride, and its staff decide who rides.

What's free, and what does Plus cost?

Queue times and usual waits at every park, ride details, height cards and one whole planned day are free, with no time limit. Rideplot Plus is £2.49 a month or £14.99 a year, with no free trial. For one visit, take a month and cancel in Settings.

Do I need an account?

No. Your group, their heights and your plans are kept on your iPhone. Rideplot fetches each park's waits from its own server without an account, a name or a device ID, and it has no ads or tracking.
