Answers to the questions Rideplot raises, and a form to write to us if yours isn't here.

Write to us

Tell us your iPhone model and iOS version, and the version of Rideplot, which is in Settings, About Rideplot. If something looked wrong at a park, the park, the ride and the time help us find it.

We use what you send only to reply to you. See the privacy policy.

What you need

  • An iPhone with iOS 26 or later. Rideplot is made for iPhone.
  • An internet connection for current waits. Without one, the app shows the last copy it has, and says how old it is.
  • The app is in English (UK). Dates and numbers are written the way your iPhone's region writes them; times are the park's local time, and ride cards show heights in the park's own unit.
  • No account and no permissions.

Questions

How do I restore Rideplot Plus on a new iPhone?

Sign in with the same Apple Account, then open Settings in Rideplot (the gear at the top right of the main Rideplot screen) and tap Restore Purchases. The Rideplot Plus screen also has Restore Subscription.

How do I cancel or change my subscription?

In Rideplot, open Settings and tap Manage subscription. Or, on your iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date to stop the next charge; Plus stays on until the end of the period you've paid for.

Can I get a refund?

Refunds are handled by Apple: go to reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with your Apple Account.

What can I do without Plus?

Everything except planning more than one day and Quieter days: the waits and usual waits at every park, go now or go later, ride details and height cards, your group, the Demo day, and one planned day, re-planned on the day. Your free day is the first day you plan. If Plus ends, every plan you made stays readable and exports.

How do I add my children's heights?

On the main Rideplot screen, tap Your group (the people icon) at the top left, then Add a child. Measure without shoes, against a wall; the park's measurement is final. To type heights in feet and inches instead of centimetres, change Height entry in Settings. Ride cards always show the park's own unit.

How does Rideplot show heights?

Each ride's card shows its listed minimum, any band where a riding adult is needed, any maximum, and each child beside them, with the park's page and the date it was checked. A child less than 3 cm (1 inch) above a minimum is marked borderline. Rideplot never says a child can ride: the park measures at the ride, and its staff decide who rides.

How do I tick rides off on the day?

Open today's day from the main Rideplot screen and tap Start the day. Then tap Done on the next ride, or Skip; This ride's closed is under the ··· button. If you marked a ride by mistake, swipe or long-press it under Done and skipped and choose Put back in the plan. On your free day or with Plus, the day re-plans after each one.

When does Rideplot re-plan by itself?

While On the day is open, it refreshes the park's posted waits every two minutes and, on your free day or any day with Plus, re-plans the rest of your day when the park reports a planned ride down, closed or under refurbishment, or when the waits ahead rise by 15 minutes or more. It never re-plans after your leave time. You can also tap Re-plan.

Can I change a day's times after planning it?

Not yet. Long-press the day on the main Rideplot screen and choose Plan another day with these rides: it makes a new day at the same park with the same rides ticked, where you can set the times. Without Plus, only your free day can be planned, so keep it: the new day will need Plus, and deleting your free day doesn't give you another.

Why does a wait say "may be out of date"?

The park last changed that ride's posted wait more than ten minutes ago, which often just means the queue has held steady. After 30 minutes Rideplot plans that ride from its usual wait instead, and says so.

Why does Quieter days say "No estimate yet"?

Quieter days compares past posted waits for that weekday and month. Where there isn't enough history for a month yet, the day says No estimate yet rather than guess.

Can I try it before I go?

Yes. Open Settings and tap Demo day, or tap See an example day on the main Rideplot screen when you have no days coming up. It replays a recorded park day at 30 times speed, and at 11:20 the replay reports the next planned ride down, so you can watch the day re-plan. Nothing in it is saved.

How do I share a plan or keep a copy?

On a planned day, tap the share button for the plan as text. To keep every day as a spreadsheet file, open Settings and tap Export my days.

Why is a park missing?

Rideplot covers 15 parks. If a park operator objects to its parks' posted waits appearing in Rideplot, we remove that operator's parks within 48 hours, and your days there stay readable without waits.

The small print

Rideplot is unofficial: it is not affiliated with or endorsed by any park or operator. Waits are posted by the parks and supplied by ThemeParks.wiki. Read the privacy policy, the terms of use, and how Rideplot compares with other apps.
