RideplotTheme park planner
How Rideplot compares
What sets it apartThe first day you plan with Rideplot is free: your rides in an order with a clock time for each, re-planned when the park reports a ride down.
Rideplot is a theme park planner for iPhone, for families at UK parks and on trips to Orlando, Paris or Europa-Park. Tick your rides and add each child's height. Rideplot times each ride from the waits the park posts today and the wait each ride usually has at that hour.
Why choose Rideplot
- Your first planned day is free: the first day you make a plan for, re-planned as often as you like until that day ends.
- Each child's height beside each ride's listed limits, with the park's page and the date it was checked, so you can see before you queue where a child is below a listed minimum.
- Five UK parks, plus Walt Disney World, Universal Orlando, Disneyland Paris and Europa-Park.
- No account, no ads and no tracking.

Another app may suit you better if
- You want tickets, Fastrack and a park map: the Alton Towers Resort app has them; Rideplot doesn't.
- You need a park Rideplot doesn't cover, or Android or iPad: Clock Lines covers 139 parks on all three.
- You want the usual wait for the hour free with a map to each ride, or to plan on several phones: ParkCompanion does both.
What families ask for, and what Rideplot does
A posted wait that turns out wrong
Rideplot shows when the park posted each wait and greys one over ten minutes old. Once it's half an hour old, the plan uses the ride's usual wait for that hour instead.
Walking to a ride that has just closed
While the app is open on the day, Rideplot checks the park's waits every two minutes. On your free day, or with Plus, it re-plans when the park reports a planned ride down or closed.
Height surprises at the front of the queue
Rideplot shows each child beside each ride's listed limits before you go. A child less than 3 cm above a minimum is marked borderline: the park measures at the ride, so have a backup.
Questions
Is there a theme park planner that puts my rides in order for free?
Yes: your first planned day with Rideplot is free, and you can re-plan it as often as you like until that day ends. Its rides get an order and a clock time each, from posted and usual waits and the walk between rides, re-planned when the park reports a ride down.
Which parks does Rideplot cover?
Alton Towers, Thorpe Park, Chessington, Legoland Windsor and Paultons Park; the four Walt Disney World parks; Universal Orlando's three parks; Disneyland Paris's two parks; and Europa-Park.
How much is Rideplot?
Free to download, with queue times at every park and your first planned day. After that, Rideplot Plus is £2.49 a month or £14.99 a year.
Is the wait Rideplot shows the queue I'll join?
It's the wait each park posts, with when it was posted, beside that ride's usual posted wait for the hour. The queue you join can be longer or shorter.
Is Rideplot an official park app?
No. It isn't affiliated with or endorsed by any park or operator.
