StillpawSeizure diary for dogs and cats
How Stillpaw compares
What sets it apartYour vet's emergency plan, typed in your own words, shows under the seizure timer from the start and opens out in full at the minute you choose, on the free plan.
Stillpaw is a seizure diary for dogs and cats with epilepsy, for owners whose vet has asked them to keep one. One tap times a seizure, with your own emergency plan under the clock. It logs every dose and, with Plus, makes a PDF report for your vet.
Why choose Stillpaw
- At your minute, such as when your plan says to give the rescue medicine, the plan opens out under "It's been 5 minutes", with a button to call your vet.
- If another seizure started in the last 24 hours, the timer says "Second seizure in 24 hours", and the history marks cluster days.
- The timer keeps its time from your tap, even if the app closes or your iPhone restarts.
- Given or Skipped from the Lock Screen, and a second reminder 30 minutes later if a dose still isn't recorded.
- No account: the diary stays on your iPhone, and the app asks you to export a backup when the last one is a month old.

On the UK App Store: RVC Pet Epilepsy Tracker, EpiPaws and PawAura.
What you pay. Free covers one pet and one daily medicine, at up to six times a day, plus rescue medicines. Stillpaw Plus, at £17.99 a year, is the lowest yearly price of the three paid plans here, and adds more pets and daily medicines, the vet report PDF and medicine changes on the History chart.
Another app may suit you better if
- You want to film a seizure: PawAura records video as its timer runs, and EpiPaws attaches videos with Premium.
- Two of you give the medicines: EpiPaws shares a pet's care with Premium, and PawAura syncs through iCloud.
- You'd rather pay nothing, or use Android: the RVC Pet Epilepsy Tracker, from the Royal Veterinary College, is free and runs on Android too.
What owners ask for, and what Stillpaw does
A record that stays yours
Some app reviews describe owners losing years of records when an app stopped working. Stillpaw has no account or server, and a backup file you export brings the diary back if the phone is lost.
No trial that turns into a charge
Stillpaw has no free trial. The free plan has no time limit, and Plus starts only when you choose it.
Reminders you can check
Stillpaw tells you if your iPhone's settings for it could hold reminders back, and sets a second reminder 30 minutes after a dose that isn't recorded. Keep your own routine too.
Questions
Is there a dog seizure tracker that shows my vet's plan during a seizure?
Yes. Stillpaw's timer shows the plan you wrote with your vet from the start, and opens it out in full at the minute you chose, with a button to call the vet number you saved. It's on the free plan.
How much is Stillpaw?
Free for one pet, with no time limit. Stillpaw Plus is £2.49 a month or £17.99 a year, with no free trial.
Does Stillpaw work for cats?
Yes. Each dog or cat has its own diary, medicines and emergency plan. A second pet needs Plus.
Does Stillpaw detect seizures?
No. It's a diary: you start the timer and record what happened. It doesn't monitor your pet or give medical advice.
