There aren't any. Fairsies has no history, no database and no account — the bill exists while the app is open and is gone when you close it. If you need a record, send the summary to your group chat before you leave the screen.

No. The photo is read on your phone and never leaves it. Splitting works with no signal at all, which is the simplest proof of it. The only connection Fairsies ever opens is to Apple, to check the price of the subscription and confirm whether it’s active.

Yes — exactly, every time. Money is handled in whole pennies rather than decimals, and where a split doesn't divide cleanly the remaining pennies are distributed rather than rounded away.

Yes. Open the ⓘ sheet on the start screen and choose “Type a total instead” — it also appears on the start screen itself once you've been to the camera and come back. Add the names, then take “Split evenly” on the Who had what screen.

Fairsies asks the on-device language model for a second opinion on the receipt, and says so on the line under your share. Where Apple Intelligence isn't available the app falls back to its own deterministic reader and tells you — the split itself is unaffected.

Fairsies scans inside the app, so it needs camera permission and a real device with a back camera — check Settings › Fairsies › Camera. Typing a total works everywhere.

An iPhone running iOS 26 or later. The on-device model layer uses Apple Intelligence where the device supports it, and degrades gracefully where it doesn't.

There is nothing of yours to delete. Beyond your three preferences and its own record of the subscription state, Fairsies stores nothing on the device (the bill you're splitting lives in memory only) and nothing at all off it. Deleting the app takes those last two with it.
